Hi Folks I'm looking for a way to chat here with more sexuality researchers in the Asia-Pacific, not just about AIDS issues (where I work anyway). What are some of the hottest issues we researchers should be looking at right now? I want to take some ideas about the Asia-Pacific region to the International Academy of Sex Research conference next year to get more focus on this region and our sexuality research capacity and needs. Ideas welcome. Gary

Research Issues
I'm interested in issues relating to Trans, and especially GenderQueer, folks, especially those involved in sex work. Many straight-identifying Australian men patronise pre-op trans sex workers - implications for sexual health? I know quite a few GenderQueer people who support themselves by sex work in their pre-transition gender identity - I wonder what the mental health implications might be, in terms of this continual transitioning of gender identity back and forth in the context of sex work.
illness representation and sexual representation
Hi Gary, how about exploring the relationship between illness representation and sexual representation? To eplore the experiences of sexuality among people living with some kinds of virus, such as HIV. Haochu (Howard) LI (CUHK, Hong Kong)
Sexuality issues
Hi Howard thanks for your reply. There's been quite a bit on HIV. I am starting work on men with prostate cancer and sexuality, but I'm also interested in technosexuality. Any more thoughts?
