An annual two-week residential course that focuses on the conceptual study of sexuality and examines the links between sexuality and rights and their interface with the related fields of gender and health. Participants examine sexual and reproductive health programmes as well as various legal and socio-cultural issues. The course focuses on the conceptual understanding of the fields of sexuality and human rights and their linkages and connections with issues of gender and health. The course also seeks to build analytical and critical skills to assess the impact of various programs, strategies and practices in the field of sexuality and reproductive health on the rights of individuals. It especially focuses on adolescents and women and aims to create a new generation of leaders who will incorporate concepts from these four inter-related fields into their work in sexuality.
