Bringing together researchers, teachers and students in the field of human sexuality from around the globe, this website provides up-to-date information about the study of human sexuality, including a directory of study programs and research institutions, and Creative Commons licensed course materials to download. Our community of users are united by a common interest in academic investigation of human sexuality, and come from around the world.
About this website
This site is the product of an ongoing project to develop an international short course in sexuality theory and research methodologies. The project is housed at the Australian Research Centre in Sex, Health and Society (ARCSHS), La Trobe University and is run in partnership with the International Association for the Study of Sexuality Culture and Society (IASSCS). The project and this website have been funded by the Ford Foundation.

IASSCS 2009 Conference Report
Between the 15th and 18th of April 2009, the International Association for the Study of Sexuality, Culture and Society (IASSCS) hosted its 7th biennial international conference in Hanoi, Vietnam. The conference involved the participation of over 432 sexuality researchers, policy makers and activists from 46 countries around the world.
